The feelings behind this video are so touching. My grandson (5) watched it with me and asked alot of questions. It made a large impact

As a nurse, the first case of child abuse I ever saw was when I was a nursing student...a little 10 month old boy had been dipped in scalding hot water by his mother. I was horrified at how someone, especially a mother, could do that to a baby. Even after 28 yrs. it is still one of the vivid memories from the ER of Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Cindy

I, am mother of 4, and can not tolerate child abuse, in any shape way or form. This year alone, I have witnessed several. However, I did turned these adults in. I volunteer in programs that protects children. Anyone that reads this, by all means, take a good look at my picture and see whom I am. Because I will be watching you one day. I have witnessed a child beatened by a belt and with a fist last week! The 6 year old is now in the hospital ICU. I do visit him to make sure he is ok, and to comfort him. 5 weeks from this date, I will show no mercy to this "father" in court. It is a sad world when we have to hit or beat a child to teach them in return, this is what we must do to get others to motivate, or to get their attention...(not!) If there is anything I can do to help with your goals Jimmy, give me a shout and I will see what I can do. Mary

Most of my music has the same content buried deep within. This subject is unfortunately what made me who I am. Over the years it has bc my muse!!! You asked for comments: If I was producing the song I would opt for a more subtle approach, only bc on speaking of child abuse my whole life, I have found that most people just cant take it Straight Up, The subject along with other trauma some of us have been or are being subjected to in life, unfortunately causes the general masses to Shut Down, at the mere mention of it. And shutting down is the last thing we need them to do when trully we need love, support and their loving arms around us. it is bc of my childhood I guess that i became a huge proponent of human rights, civil rights etc. Please give my family's love and support to Pencil (?).
